<p><b> Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist </b><p> Location: West London </p><p> Role Type: Permanent </p><p> Salary: £44,000</p><p></p><p><b> The Role </b></p><p> Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a mainstream secondary school in West London supporting students aged 11–19. </p><p></p><p><b> Details </b></p><p> The role involves working within a mainstream educational setting with a general curriculum and sixth form provision, including a strong STEM focus. You will support students with speech, language, and communication needs to help them access learning, develop social communication skills, and achieve educational outcomes. </p><p></p><p><b> Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li> Manage a caseload of secondary-aged students with speech and language needs </li><li> Complete speech, language, and communication assessments </li><li> Develop and implement individualised therapy and support plans </li><li> Work collaboratively with teaching staff, families, and the multidisciplinary team </li><li> Provide strategies to support communication and classroom participation </li><li> Contribute to EHCP reviews and educational outcomes </li><li> Maintain accurate clinical records and reports </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Requirements </b></p><ul><li> HCPC registration </li><li> Experience working within speech and language therapy, ideally in educational settings </li><li> Knowledge of adolescent speech, language, and communication needs </li><li> Ability to work independently within a school environment </li><li> Strong communication and organisational skills </li></ul><p><b> Applying for roles </b></p><p> If you are interested in this position, please get in touch to discuss further opportunities. </p><p> Joseph Nordoff </p><p> joseph.nordoff@cpl.com </p><p>07584 147 655</p>
