Speech and Language Therapist - Full-time or part-time

The Role This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of Allen Speech & Language delivering statutory and therapeutic SALT services on behalf of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Councils. Successful clinicians will have the opportunity to undertake: Standard Speech and Language Therapy Assessments Tribunal / Expert Witness Assessments Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) advice and recommendations Direct therapy delivery Collaborative work with families, schools and multi-agency professionals Supervision of therapy assistant programmes where appropriate You will play a key role in ensuring children and young people receive high quality, evidence-based assessment and intervention to support educational outcomes. All bands from NQT to Management will be considered. We Are Looking For Therapists Who Have: Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech and Language Therapy Registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Membership of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists Experience working with children and young people with SEND Strong assessment, report writing and clinical reasoning skills Experience contributing to EHCPs highly desirable Tribunal / expert witness experience advantageous but not essential Ability to work independently across school, clinic and home settings Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred but not essential.
