<p> Our client is an established technology business and industry leader in RF systems — serving customers across satcom, broadcast, defence and telecoms markets worldwide. Following strong, consistent growth (revenues up over 70% in two years), they are creating a new Sales Director role to own global commercial performance and shape the next chapter of their international expansion. <p></p><p><b><u> The Opportunity </u></b></p><p></p><ul><li> Lead a distributed BDM team across UK/EMEA, APAC and the US — coaching, setting direction and driving consistent commercial rhythm </li><li> Own revenue, gross profit and margin performance for the RF Communications and Test product lines globally </li><li> Build commercial capability in the US, the largest growth market (~$6m and rising)</li><li> Redesign and strengthen the global channel and VAR partner network </li><li> Embed Salesforce as a live management tool, improving forecasting and pipeline discipline </li><li> Collaborate cross-divisionally on system-level opportunities within a broader technology group </li><li> Travel to key customers and trade shows — this is a visible, field-engaged role (4–5 shows/year)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u> What we're looking for </u></b></p><p></p><ul><li>10+ years in technical B2B sales, ideally in defence, aerospace, telecoms, RF, photonics, test & measurement or adjacent high-technology sectors </li><li> Experience selling complex products to engineering-led customers — you build credibility through curiosity, not bluster </li><li> People leadership experience — you can coach, challenge and develop a small international team </li><li> Commercial confidence: margin awareness, pricing discipline, forecasting fluency </li><li> Comfort operating in an SME environment — autonomous, hands-on, no large corporate infrastructure </li><li> Direct RF over fibre experience is a bonus, not a requirement </li></ul><p></p><p><b><u> What success looks like </u></b></p><p></p><ul><li> You build credibility with engineering customers within 3–6 months </li><li> The sales team has clear direction, accountability and rhythm </li><li> Partners perform as genuine extensions of the sales team, not loose resellers </li><li> US market growth accelerates; channel coverage in Europe and APAC improves </li><li> You're present, engaged and driving deals — not just reporting on them </li></ul><p></p><p><b><u> Package </u></b></p><p></p><ul><li> Competitive salary with genuine scope for growth as the role develops </li><li> Bonus scheme · Company car or car allowance </li><li> Share Incentive Plan · Pension · 4x life assurance </li><li>25 days holiday + bank holidays, with buy/sell option </li><li> Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing app, cycle-to-work scheme </li></ul><p></p><p><b><u> How to apply </u></b></p><p></p><p> This role is being managed exclusively by Banner Lane.
