A community of over 7,000 employees striving to create better lives for all of our residents. </p><p><b> Come join us. </b></p><p> Could you be our next Gas R&M Contracts Officer within our Building Maintenance team?</p><p> In this role you will support the Gas Coordinator in supervising, organising and managing day to day operations in relation to Domestic Gas Servicing, Maintenance & Installation works to Falkirk Council’s Housing Stock. You will have proven experience in Gas Service delivery and contract management including quality control. You will have a full understanding of current and emerging legislation, standards and regulations relating to domestic gas work ensuring high standards are always maintained. </p><p><b> What we are looking for…</b></p><p> The ideal person for this role will be able to demonstrate practical knowledge, understanding and experience of the works listed above. A high attention to detail and health and safety is essential. </p><p> An SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Gas or equivalent is essential with Gas Safe Registration (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 & MET1). A current driving licence is also essential. </p><p> CMDDA1 is desirable. </p><p> If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate. </p><p><b> Sounds like you?
