In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of <b> quality, food safety, and compliance </b> . </p><p> You’ll work closely with operations and technical teams to maintain an <b> audit-ready environment </b> , support continuous improvement, and uphold customer and regulatory standards. </p><p></p><p><b> Shift Pattern </b> : Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 - 18:00</p><p><b> Salary: </b>£13.59</p><p></p><p><b> OTHER SHIFT PATTERNS ARE AVAILABLE </b></p><p></p><p><b> Location: </b> Across both of our sites - Hilltop Road and Ratby Lane- Leicester </p><p></p><p><b> Key Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li> Carry out audits against <b> QMS, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards </b></li><li> Identify and raise non-conformances, supporting corrective actions and follow-ups </li><li> Ensure all quality documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date </li><li> Conduct <b> sampling and testing </b> (microbiological, chemical, water, and swabbing)</li><li> Liaise with external laboratories and manage sample submissions and results </li><li> Support <b> NPD trials, pre-productions, and product launches </b></li><li> Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams </li><li> Assist with <b> customer complaint investigations </b></li><li> Prepare and facilitate <b> taste panels </b> , reporting results clearly </li><li> Perform <b> validation and verification checks </b> on CCPs and food safety controls </li><li> Calibrate measurement equipment in line with schedules </li><li> Maintain site standards to ensure continuous <b> audit readiness </b></li><li> Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements </li></ul><p></p><p><b> What We’re Looking For </b></p><ul><li> Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality </li><li> Good communication and teamwork skills </li><li> Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment </li><li> Knowledge or experience in <b> food safety, HACCP, or auditing </b> (preferred)</li><li> Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Training & Development </b></p><p> You’ll be supported with training relevant to the role, which may include: </p><ul><li> Health & Safety </li><li> HACCP & Food Hygiene </li><li> Internal Auditing </li><li> Manual Handling </li><li> Safe Systems of Work </li><li> Equipment operation (e.g., pallet trucks)</li></ul><p></p><p><b> Physical Requirements </b></p><p> This role involves: </p><ul><li> Manual handling </li><li> Bending and working in confined spaces </li><li> Being on your feet for extended periods </li></ul><p> A reasonable level of fitness is required. </p><p></p><p><b> Why Join Us?</b></p><p> You’ll be part of a collaborative team committed to maintaining <b> high-quality standards </b> and continuous improvement.
