Quality Assurance Technician - Food

Quality Assurance Technician (Drinks Production) 28k rising to £30k after probation Our client is a growing drinks manufacturing business specialising in bottling and canning solutions for a range of customers, with products supplied into major UK retailers. Engaged on an exclusive basis, we are looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Technician to support the development of site quality systems, with a key focus on gaining BRCGS accreditation. Support the implementation and development of BRCGS standards across the site * Carry out quality checks on incoming materials and finished products * Assist in developing and maintaining the company Quality Manual and supporting documentation * Conduct GMP and hygiene checks throughout the production facility * Investigate customer complaints and support corrective and preventative actions where required * Promote best practice, food safety, and quality standards across the business Previous experience within a food or drinks manufacturing environment in a Quality Assurance / Quality Technician role * Strong understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality systems * Degree qualified (BSc or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Production, or a related discipline * 28,000 salary rising to £30,000 after successful probation * Genuine opportunity to shape quality systems and standards * Long-term career development opportunities within a growing technical team * Immediate start available — ideally within a four-week timescale
