Project Cost Estimator

We’re supporting a growing engineering and infrastructure business who are looking to appoint an Estimator to support the continued growth of their commercial Solar PV division. This role will focus on pricing and supporting the delivery of commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects, working closely with sales, engineering, pre-construction, and delivery teams to develop accurate and commercially competitive proposals. The ideal person will have experience within commercial solar, electrical infrastructure, or wider renewable energy projects, with a strong understanding of project costing, quotations, and technical coordination. Produce accurate cost estimates and proposals for commercial Solar PV projects Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to obtain pricing and technical information Prepare tender submissions, quotations, and project cost breakdowns Assist with project handovers into delivery teams following contract award Experience estimating within commercial Solar PV, electrical, utilities, or renewable energy projects Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Understanding of commercial rooftop and/or ground-mounted Solar PV systems Experience working with subcontractor and supplier pricing Familiarity with wider electrical infrastructure or renewable energy projects would be beneficial This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business operating across multiple areas of the energy transition sector, with strong growth plans and a healthy project pipeline.
