<p><strong> Procurement & Commercial Manager - Wind Turbine Generators (WTG)</strong></p><p><b> Location: Glasgow (Hybrid Working) </b> <b> Contract Role | Day Rate DOE </b></p><p></p><p> We are recruiting for a Procurement & Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a major offshore wind project in the North Sea. This role will focus on the procurement and commercial management of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) packages. </p><p> This is a commercially focused role requiring strong negotiation skills and experience managing high-value supplier contracts. </p><p><b> The Role </b></p><p> You will be responsible for managing procurement and commercial activities relating to WTG packages, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. </p><p> Key responsibilities include: </p><ul><li> Leading <b> end-to-end procurement activities </b> for WTG packages </li><li> Managing <b> supplier negotiations and contract award processes </b></li><li> Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned to project objectives </li><li> Evaluating supplier proposals and ensuring commercial competitiveness </li><li> Managing supplier relationships and performance </li><li> Identifying and mitigating commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle </li></ul><p><b> What We're Looking For </b></p><ul><li> Strong experience in <b> procurement and commercial roles within energy or infrastructure projects </b></li><li> Proven track record of <b> negotiating high-value contracts with major suppliers/OEMs </b></li><li> Experience working with <b> wind turbine or large equipment packages (desirable)</b></li><li> Solid understanding of <b> contract frameworks (NEC, FIDIC, or similar)</b></li><li> Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability </li><li> Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment </li></ul><p></p>
