<p><p><b> Your new company </b> <br> Hays are delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable organisation based in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to appoint an Organisational Development Lead on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. This organisation plays a vital role in delivering essential services and is committed to continuous improvement, innovation, and creating a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture. <p></p><b> Your new role </b> <br> In this role you will lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive Organisational Development strategy. This critical role will support organisational transformation, strengthen leadership capability, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the organisation is equipped to meet current and future challenges in a complex public sector environment. <br> Key Responsibilities <ul><li> Develop and deliver an organisation-wide OD strategy aligned to corporate objectives </li><li> Design and implement a performance development framework (PDR/PDP) to enable talent development and succession planning </li><li> Lead the introduction of digital solutions to support performance and development processes </li><li> Develop and deliver leadership and management development programmes, including mentoring and coaching initiatives </li><li> Advise senior leadership on organisational culture and change management </li><li> Design and deliver employee engagement strategies, including surveys, action planning, and improvement initiatives </li><li> Support transformation programmes and organisational change initiatives </li><li> Develop and embed cultural training aligned to organisational values and behaviours </li><li> Establish coaching and mentoring frameworks to strengthen leadership capability </li><li> Collaborate with HR, Digital, and Transformation teams to deliver integrated people solutions </li><li> Manage and develop the Learning & Development function, including line management responsibilities </li><li> Coordinate organisation wide learning activity and oversee the L&D budget </li><li> Use data insights (engagement, performance, talent metrics) to inform OD interventions </li><li> Represent the organisation externally within public sector networks </li></ul><p><br><b> What you'll need to succeed </b> </p><ul><li> Proven experience in a senior Organisational Development, Learning & Development, or HR role </li><li> Demonstrable experience designing and implementing OD strategies and frameworks </li><li> Strong track record of delivering leadership development and cultural change programmes </li><li> Experience of performance management frameworks and talent development initiatives </li><li> Ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders </li><li> Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret people data and translate insights into action </li><li> Experience working in complex, unionised or public sector environments is desirable </li><li> Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills </li></ul><p><p></p><b> What you'll get in return </b> <ul><li> Opportunity to shape and lead impactful organisational change </li><li> Flexible working arrangements </li><li> Competitive salary and benefits - 50,000-55,000 dependent on experience. </li><li> A collaborative and purpose-driven working environment </li></ul><p><p></p><b> What you need to do now </b> <br> If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now. <br> If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career. <p> Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
