Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Women’s Mental Health We’re recruiting a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist women’s mental health service supporting individuals with complex needs across secure and open rehabilitation settings . This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team , delivering recovery‑focused, occupation‑led interventions that support service users to build independence and meaningful life skills. Key Responsibilities Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop person‑centred care plans Deliver individual and group‑based therapeutic interventions Promote occupational engagement and recovery within the ward environment Work closely with MDT colleagues to manage risk and support positive outcomes Actively involve service users in their treatment planning and care journey Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, and audit Requirements HCPC registered Occupational Therapist Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy Minimum 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in mental health Confident working both autonomously and as part of an MDT Strong commitment to recovery‑focused, person‑centred care What’s on Offer Excellent training and CPD opportunities Clear career progression pathways Supportive clinical leadership Pension scheme and staff benefits (including Blue Light Card eligibility)
