<p><p><b> Maintenance Engineer - 4 Day Week </b></p><p><b> Salary: Up to 54,000 per annum DOE </b></p><p> We are seeking an experienced <b> Maintenance Engineer </b> to join our clients established engineering team within a long-standing, family-run Scottish business. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering stability, career development, and the opportunity to work with a close-knit team. </p><p><b> Key Details: </b></p><ul><li><b> Working hours: </b> Mon - Thu 11.20am to 21.50pm - <b>4 x 10 hour shifts </b></li><li><b> Salary: </b> Up to 54,000 per annum (includes flexibility allowance)</li><li><b> Christmas shutdown every year </b></li><li><b> Pension scheme and production-based bonus </b></li><li><b> Overtime available at enhanced rates </b></li></ul><p><b> Your Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li> Carry out both proactive and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial machinery. </li><li> Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues, including PLC control systems. </li><li> Support production teams to minimise downtime and ensure timely repairs. </li><li> Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. </li><li> Uphold good housekeeping practices and contribute to continuous improvement. </li></ul><p><b> About You: </b></p><ul><li> Time-served / modern apprenticeship in a <b> Mechanical or Electrical </b> Engineering (or equivalent). </li><li> Knowledge of PLCs, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and mechanical drive systems. </li><li> Flexible and multiskilled, with a willingness to undertake mechanical work. </li><li> Physically fit, due to the nature of the role. </li></ul><p> This is an excellent opportunity to join a secure and successful business where many employees have built long careers.
