<p><h2> Job Advert </h2><p> Salary is National Minimum wage so it's age dependent as below: </p><p><b> Age Range - Rate Per Hour </b></p><p><b> Aged 16-17 - £8.00</b></p><p><b> Aged 18-20 - £10.85</b></p><p><b> Aged 21+ - £12.71</b></p><p> Falkirk Council are recruiting Modern Apprentice positions within Business Administration, Housing and Customer Service roles. </p><p> Falkirk Council are recruiting Modern Apprentice positions within Business Administration, Housing and Customer Service roles. </p><p> Open to all Falkirk Council residents, who are looking to gain a qualification in work. </p><p> As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will provide a welcoming front‑of‑house experience, whilst supporting the wider team with administrative tasks, supporting efficient day‑to‑day operations within the office. </p><ul><li> The Apprentice will require the ability to deal with customers in a courteous manner. </li><li> The Apprentice will be required to always maintain confidentiality. </li><li> The Apprentice will have good communication and IT skills. </li><li> The Apprentice will have the ability to work under pressure and be able to work with other colleagues in the team. </li><li> The Apprentice will be required to complete training and a qualification whilst in work. </li></ul><p> Key skills and attributes for the role include: </p><ul><li> Organisational and multitasking skills </li><li> Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)</li><li> Confident telephone manner and customer service skills </li><li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li> Previous work experience would be an advantage but not essential </li></ul><p> If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out a Disclosure Scotland check, the cost of which will be met by the preferred candidate. </p><p> Please send an up to date CV to: eturecruitment@falkirk.gov.uk with the subject heading as "MA Opportunity". </p><p> Closing Date is 30 th June, 2026</p>
