<p><p> Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in East Kilbride. </p><p> Our client is a long-established business supplying specialist machinery and manufacturing solutions to the food production sector across the UK and Ireland, offering a varied role combining site-based maintenance with field-based engineering support at customer locations. </p><p><b> What's on offer?</b></p><ul><li> Full-time permanent position </li><li> Working week of Monday to Friday </li><li>30,000 to 35,000 per annum </li><li> Company van provided </li><li>34 days annual leave </li><li> Company pension scheme and enhanced paternity pay </li><li> Opportunities for training and development </li></ul><p><b> As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include: </b></p><ul><li> Carrying out routine, preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment </li><li> Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting and implementing effective repair solutions </li><li> Conducting servicing, maintenance and installation of specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK, with occasional travel to Ireland </li><li> Providing demonstrations and basic training to customers on equipment use </li><li> Maintaining accurate maintenance records and working closely with production teams to minimise downtime </li></ul><p><b> To be considered as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need: </b></p><ul><li> A strong mechanical engineering background with experience in a manufacturing environment </li><li> The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics </li><li> Good communication skills, particularly when dealing with customers </li><li> A full UK driving licence - a willingness to travel is essential </li><li> Basic electrical knowledge is <b> advantageous </b> <b> but </b> <b> not </b> <b> essential </b></li></ul><p> Interested in this Maintenance Engineer role? <b> Apply now or call us on 01698 535 870. </b></p><p> CAHAM </p>
