<p><b> Lead Data Platfrom Engineer - £110k | Lead a Data Engineering function | HealthTech | Python, Spark, Data Bricks, AWS, Azure | Manchester / hybrid working </b><p></p><p> G.Digital have exclusively partnered with an exciting HealthTech business looking to hire a Lead Data Engineer to build and shape a brand-new Data Engineering function from the ground up. </p><p> This isn’t your standard leadership role and definitely won’t suit everyone... </p><p></p><p> Initially, you’ll be hands-on delivering a critical Data Engineering project expected to run for the first 3–6 months </p><p> From there, you’ll have the autonomy to define what the Data Engineering capability looks like moving forward — tooling, architecture, strategy and team build included </p><p> Huge opportunity to genuinely influence engineering direction within a scaling business </p><p></p><p> What they’re looking for </p><p> Strong hands-on Data Engineering experience across Python, Spark, SQL and PySpark </p><p> Experience working with hyperscaler cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP </p><p> Exposure to modern tooling including Databricks, Microsoft Fabric and PowerBI </p><p> Previous experience building, leading or mentoring Data Engineering teams </p><p></p><p> What’s in it for you? </p><p> Salary up to £110k </p><p> 25 days holiday </p><p> Hybrid working — 1 day in Manchester every 1–2 weeks </p><p> Opportunity to build a function from scratch with genuine ownership </p><p></p><p> Interested?
