General Operative - Weekend Shift

Job Description We're looking for a General Operative to join our Transportation team based in Picketts Lock. \Contract: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:30) \Salary: £32,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications \Join our highways maintenance team at Kier, where you'll be part of our joint venture with Tarmac on the Barnet contract. As a General Operative, you'll be working within the highways maintenance team, supporting them in delivering excellent work standards and maintaining safe roadways. Carrying out paving and tarmac repairs throughout the London Borough of Barnet \n Performing daily checks on vehicles and plant equipment \n Using tablets and digital tools for record keeping and risk assessments \n This role of General Operative is great for you if: \You hold a valid driving licence \n You hold the relevant driving licence(s) allowing you to operate a vehicle of 7.5 tonnes and more \n You have experience with plant equipment \n You possess NRSWA and CSCS qualifications \n You're comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions \n So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat. \Diversity and inclusionMaking Kier a diverse and inclusive place to work is a huge priority for us.
