Experienced researcher needed

<p> Job Title: AI Researcher <p> Location: London or Cambridge, UK </p><p> Type: Permanent </p><p></p><p> Our client are an international semiconductor company. </p><p></p><p> Responsibilities: </p><p> Lead engineering efforts on complex research projects in machine learning and artificial intelligence </p><p> Optimize algorithms and ensure the scalability and robustness of research prototypes and systems </p><p> Coordinate closely with researchers to align engineering work with research objectives and project goals </p><p> Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and research staff </p><p> Contribute to technical publications and assist in preparing research documentation </p><p> Maintain and improve research infrastructure, tools, and workflows </p><p> Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, engineering best practices, and related fields </p><p></p><p> Requirements: </p><p> Extensive experience implementing and optimizing machine learning algorithms and systems </p><p> Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar </p><p> Proven ability to lead engineering projects and work both independently and collaboratively </p><p> Experience mentoring junior engineers or technical staff </p><p> Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities, including technical documentation </p><p> Experience with optimization, reinforcement learning, and/or large language models (LLMs)</p><p> Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX)</p><p> Experience with scalable system design and deployment in research or production environments </p><p> Exposure to chip design or applied AI research </p><p> Track record of contributing to technical publications or open-source projects </p><p></p><p> If this sounds like it could be of interest, please apply below or reach out to daniel@microtech-global.com </p>
