Join a market-leading food manufacturer at a modern, highly automated production facility in Leicester. Due to continued growth and investment, we’re looking for electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to strengthen an established and well-structured engineering team.
You’ll be working within a large, state-of-the-art site that benefits from significant ongoing investment in both equipment and people. With strong maintenance processes, healthy engineering budgets, and a supportive team culture, this is an environment where engineers are genuinely valued and developed.

Shift Pattern:
~4 on 4 off – Days and Nights (12 hour shifts): 06:30 – 18:30 / 18:30 – 06:30 (blocks of 4)

Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
Deliver hands-on engineering support to keep production running smoothly
Perform both reactive and planned maintenance
Use CMMS system to record and track maintenance activities
Work closely with production to meet performance goals
Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Be part of a collaborative, supportive engineering team with a strong culture of teamwork
What We’re Looking For:
Time-served or apprenticeship-trained engineer
Relevant engineering qualifications (C&G/NVQ Level 3 or ONC/HNC preferred)
Strong electrical skillset
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
A positive, proactive mindset and a team player
Eagerness to grow, learn, and contribute to a forward-thinking engineering department
