<p><strong> Job Title: </strong> Electrical Maintenance Engineer <p><strong> Location: </strong> Sheffield </p><p><strong> Pay Range/details: </strong> Competitive Salary </p><p><strong> Contract Type: </strong> Permanent </p><p></p><p> We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Sheffield. This is a hands-on Electrical Engineer position working a rotating shift pattern by providing engineering support to achieve high levels of plant availability and performance across the Meadowhall, River Don and Provincial Park sites. </p><p></p><p><strong> Key Responsibilities - Electrical Maintenance Engineer </strong></p><ul><li> Rectify all engineering breakdowns as quickly as possible to minimise downtime </li><li> Support the introduction and delivery of PPM TPM and Continuous Improvement initiatives across all sites </li><li> Act with delegated authority of the Engineering Team Leader in their absence and make sound engineering decisions when required </li><li> Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and embrace the 5S programme daily </li><li> Enforce and adhere to the highest standards of Health and Safety at all times </li><li> Complete all work recording systems accurately with relevant information </li><li> Carry out thorough shift change and handover procedures with oncoming personnel </li><li> Support the Site Engineering Manager in reducing machine downtime through autonomous maintenance programmes </li><li> Complete all plant PPM schedules on time and support site-wide TPM programmes </li><li> Work effectively as part of a multi-skilled Mechanical and Electrical team </li><li> Liaise with contractors and carry out cost-effective maintenance and repairs </li><li> Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical Maintenance Engineer </b> </p><ul><li> Good academic qualifications i.e. HNC / ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent </li><li> Apprentice trained - 17th Edition Trained (Minimum) with 18th Edition Training advantageous </li><li> Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an Engineering or Maintenance function </li><li> Strong PLC knowledge and fault-finding skills </li><li> Experience in a hot working environment such as steel forging rolling or foundry would be advantageous </li><li> HV Switching qualification and authorisation would be advantageous </li><li> Team working skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines </li><li> Logical analytical approach with a can-do self-motivated attitude </li><li> Flexible with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset </li></ul><p></p><p><b> What we can offer - Electrical Engineer </b> </p><ul><li> Average 42 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern (3 on 4 off / 4 on 3 off) </li><li> Opportunity to work across multiple sites with variety in your role </li><li> Hands-on involvement in Continuous Improvement and major maintenance projects </li><li> The chance to take on responsibility and act as deputy for the Engineering Team Leader </li></ul><p></p><p> For more information on this role, please contact Charlie on 01453 852544 or send a copy of your CV to charlie.boulton@omegaresource.co.uk </p><p><b> C </b> andidates who are currently an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer or Senior Electrical Technician may be suitable for this position. </p><p></p><p> For details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website </p>
