DAY SHIFT HGV Mechanic / Technician

The majority of these are based in the immediate locality and we are a significant supporter of local community projects and institutions. *We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team, based in Market Weighton, East Yorkshire (YO43 3QX): * Role involves working on all makes and models of used trucks preparing them for resale in UK and export markets * HGV qualifications and experience in use of vehicle diagnostics would be advantageous * The role would suit technicians used to working in independent or own-account garages, and potentially also those in similar industries such as vehicle engineering, plant and agriculture * HGV Licence preferred, although not essential. Forklift/Tele-Handler qualifications also useful *Basic salary of £18.96 - £21.01 per hour depending on experience and overtime rates paid * Standard working week of Monday – Thursday 8:00am to 4:15pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:15pm * 22 days’ paid holiday per year plus bank holidays, which increases with length of service * A bonus scheme rewarding loyalty * Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £18.96-£21.01 per hour Free parking HGV Technician: 1 year (required)
