<p><p> A well‑established multi‑disciplinary consultancy is seeking a Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join its Aberdeen office. The role will play a key part in delivering a diverse mix of building surveying services across commercial, industrial, and public sector assets. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative workplace with a strong client base and varied project portfolio. </p><p> </p><p> You’ll be responsible for client engagement, project delivery, and high-quality outcomes, with scope to influence the growth of surveying services within the region. </p><p> </p><p><b> Key Responsibilities of the Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor </b></p><ul><li> Lead building surveying workstreams including condition surveys, defect analysis, schedules of dilapidations, and pre‑acquisition due diligence. </li><li> Prepare and review specifications, tender documentation, and cost/value reports. </li><li> Manage contract administration on projects ensuring compliance with industry standards. </li><li> Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional, timely communication. </li><li> Represent the consultancy with external stakeholders, contractors, and statutory bodies. </li><li> Provide commercial and technical advice to clients at all stages. </li><li> Mentor and support less‑experienced surveyors. </li><li> Contribute to business development, including proposals and client presentations. </li></ul><p> </p><p><b> Requirements of the Chartered/Senior Building Surveyor </b></p><ul><li> MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor. </li><li> Proven track record in building surveying across varied sectors. </li><li> Excellent report writing, technical analysis, and presentation skills. </li><li> Commercially aware with strong organisational ability. </li><li> Confident working independently and as part of a team. </li></ul><p> </p><p><b> Benefits </b></p><ul><li> Competitive salary: £45,000 – £60,000. </li><li> Hybrid working and flexible arrangements. </li><li>5% Pension contribution </li><li>25 days holiday + bank holidays. </li><li> Pension, professional membership support, and development opportunities. </li><li> Friendly, supportive office environment in Aberdeen. </li></ul>
