Job description
<p><strong> Company Description: </strong><p> We are looking to recruit a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our team at our Thruxton facility. </p><p> Heliwork has over 50 years of experience in the rotary sector and is widely recognised for its maintenance of Bell and Leonardo aircrafts. </p><p></p><p> Our state-of-the-art facilities include a 20,000‑square‑foot hangar with specialised workshops for dynamic and hydraulic component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). As well as a 10,000‑square‑foot hangar dedicated to Leonardo blade repairs, introduced in 2020. </p><p></p><p> Successful candidates will hold at least one of the following UK CAA Part-66 type ratings: </p><p><strong> AW109, AB/B206, B429. </strong></p><p></p><p><strong> Key Responsibilities: </strong></p><p>•Provide regular engineering reports to the Head of Maintenance/Department </p><p>•Certify work within the limits of company authorisations </p><p>•Carry out line and base maintenance at Heliwork facilities and off-site at customer locations when required </p><p>•Perform all aircraft maintenance-related tasks </p><p>•Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient business operations </p><p>•Supervise engineering and support staff as needed </p><p>•Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. CAA, EASA)</p><p>•Maintain compliance with Continuing Professional Development requirements and company policies </p><p>•Manage maintenance activities effectively within your area of responsibility </p><p>•Competently use Microsoft-based computer systems </p><p></p><p><strong> Applicants must be able to demonstrate recent licence validity, hold the legal right to live and work in the UK and be eligible to obtain security clearance. </strong></p><p></p><p> Apply today to take the next step in your career with Heliwork.
