<p><b> Assistant Commercial Manager- Facilities Management </b><p><b> PFI Experience Needed </b></p><p><b> Location: Leeds & Surrounding Areas </b></p><p></p><p> One of our long standing FM clients are currently looking for an Assistant Commercial Manager to join their team. </p><p></p><p> The successful applicant will manage commercial aspects of operational contracts, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure effective commercial management </p><p></p><p><b> Responsibilities will include: </b></p><ul><li> Manage risk registers and dispute resolution with suppliers and customers </li><li> Ensure commercial/contractual compliance and risk mitigation </li><li> Monitor supplier performance against commercial terms </li><li> Support commercial strategy on contractual disputes </li><li> Identify and support profit improvement initiatives </li><li> Negotiate contracts within set boundaries </li><li> Manage project delivery, ensuring appropriate contractual arrangements with all stakeholders. </li><li> Control project finances by monitoring and reporting spend, while advising clients on financial risks and budget management. </li><li> Manage the tender process and appoint suppliers, ensuring value for money and best contractual terms. </li><li> Manage supplier accounts and upload commercial records onto the business system. </li><li> Ensure effective financial and commercial management in line with company procedures </li><li> Manage supply chain expenditure and maintain pricing targets </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Essential requirements: </b></p><p></p><ul><li> Demonstrable experience managing PFI FM Contracts </li><li> Strong FM or construction background </li><li> Experience in dealing with construction defects </li><li> Demonstrable commercial technical knowledge and experience </li><li> Experience of NEC and Public Sector contracts – particularly PFI style contracts </li><li> Proven ability to successfully negotiate on high “value at stake” issues </li><li> A strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness, excellent interpersonal awareness and influencing skills and a target/profit driven attitude with a focus on delivering results </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Benefits: </b></p><ul><li> Company pension scheme with employer contributions. </li><li> Life Assurance Scheme. </li><li> Subsidised healthcare plan. </li><li> Charity work- Match-IT and Payroll Giving. </li><li> Employee Assistance Programme Scheme (Confidential Counselling Services, 24/7 support specialising in health and medical topics). </li><li> Discounts on high street shops and brands including several leading high street brands, retailers and travel suppliers. </li><li> Progression, training and development opportunities. </li></ul><p></p>
