<p><b> Contract AI Engineer | Outside IR35 | Agentic AI / LLMs / RAG </b><p></p><p><b> Conquer AI is hiring a Contract AI Engineer </b></p><p> We’re looking for a highly capable, hands-on AI Engineer with a strong traditional software engineering background and deep applied AI experience. </p><p> This is an <b> Outside IR35 contract </b> working on greenfield AI projects for enterprise clients. You’ll be helping design and build real-world systems using LLMs, RAG, vector databases, agentic AI, and workflow automation. </p><p></p><p> This is not a research-only role. We need someone who can build production-grade systems, integrate with existing platforms, and move quickly from problem definition to working software. </p><p></p><p><b> What you’ll be working on: </b></p><p> Agentic AI workflow automation </p><p> LLM-powered applications </p><p> RAG and knowledge systems </p><p> Vector database architecture and retrieval pipelines </p><p> Document intelligence and information extraction </p><p> AI systems that connect into business workflows </p><p> API integrations and backend services </p><p> Greenfield client projects and internal Conquer AI product work </p><p></p><p><b> Core skills we’re looking for: </b></p><p> Strong machine learning experience </p><p> Strong traditional software engineering background </p><p> Python </p><p> Node.js </p><p> TypeScript </p><p> LLMs </p><p> RAG </p><p> Vector databases </p><p> Agentic AI systems </p><p> Workflow automation </p><p> API integrations </p><p> Backend engineering </p><p></p><p><b> You’ll be a strong fit if you: </b></p><p> Have built real AI systems beyond prototypes </p><p> Can design and ship reliable backend services </p><p> Understand retrieval, ranking, chunking, embeddings, and evaluation </p><p> Have experience integrating LLMs into business workflows </p><p> Can work with ambiguity and move quickly </p><p> Are comfortable working with client-facing teams </p><p> Can turn vague business problems into working technical solutions </p><p> Care about practical delivery, not just experimentation </p><p></p><p><b> Nice to have: </b></p><p> Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP </p><p> Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar </p><p> Experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Chroma, pgvector, or similar </p><p> Experience with document processing, OCR, structured extraction, or enterprise search </p><p> Experience in consulting, enterprise delivery, SaaS, or startup environments </p><p></p><p><b> About Conquer AI </b></p><p> Conquer AI builds bespoke agentic AI systems for enterprise clients. </p><p> We work with clients to understand their workflows, identify where AI can automate or augment work, and build practical systems that operate inside their existing environment. </p><p> Our work spans document intelligence, workflow automation, knowledge retrieval, operational copilots, AI agents, data extraction, and enterprise integrations. </p><p></p><p><b> Contract: </b> Outside IR35</p><p><b> Location: </b> UK-based preferred </p><p><b> Working style: </b> Hybrid / remote, with occasional client or team sessions </p><p><b> Start: </b> ASAP </p><p><b> Engagement: </b> Contract </p><p></p><p> If you’re a strong software engineer with serious applied AI experience and you want to work on meaningful agentic AI systems, we’d like to speak with you. </p>
