I’m recruiting for an Account Manager position where industry experience and credibility matter more than a hard sales background. This is an urgent hire with no candidates currently in process. </p><p></p><p><b> About the Client: </b></p><p></p><p> We’re supporting a global engineering organisation operating within the marine and offshore sector. They have a strong presence across international markets and are known for delivering technical solutions and services to offshore and port-based clients. </p><p></p><p><b> What You’ll Be Doing: </b></p><p></p><p>• Managing and developing key accounts across the offshore / marine sector </p><p>• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients across UK ports </p><p>• Identifying opportunities and generating work for internal engineering teams </p><p>• Acting as the link between customers and operational / technical teams </p><p>• Supporting commercial activity without a pushy sales approach </p><p>• Travelling across the UK to meet clients and understand requirements </p><p></p><p><b> What We Need From You: </b></p><p></p><p>• Marine / offshore industry experience (essential)</p><p>• Background in engineering, vessel operations, or marine services </p><p>• Strong communication and relationship-building skills </p><p>• Commercial awareness with a consultative approach </p><p>• Ability to work between technical teams and client stakeholders </p><p>• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)</p><p></p><p><b> What’s On Offer: </b></p><p></p><p>• Hybrid working (Aberdeen office, typically 1 day per week)</p><p>• Autonomous role with minimal micromanagement </p><p>• Opportunity to move into a commercially focused position </p><p>• Exposure to major offshore and marine clients </p><p>• Long-term progression within a global organisation </p><p></p><p> If you’d like to discuss the opportunity in more detail, please call Beth on 07719 983 823 or email beth.allen@hirecracker.com </p><p></p>
