As Interim Management Accountant, you will deliver financial insights that improve job costing processes and monthly management reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced systems knowledge, and a hands-on approach to data management and reporting. Conduct detailed job profitability and project costing analysis. Utilise Sage 200 and advanced Excel to extract, analyse, and report on data. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance data accuracy and analytics capabilities. Support the upskilling of internal teams for post-contract knowledge transfer. We are seeking a self-starter who can hit the ground running, combining technical expertise with a proactive attitude to financial problem-solving. You will have experience in management accounting and thrive in a fast-moving, project-driven business setting. Proven experience in management accounting within project-driven or industrial sectors. Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting. Experience with job costing, gross margins, and cost of sales analysis. Immediate availability and ability to work onsite. Demonstrable ability to produce accurate financial insights for stakeholders. Experience in private equity-backed organisations. Knowledge of ERP implementation processes. Prior consulting or interim financial experience. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial insights. Flexibility for potential contract extensions or part-time work arrangements.
