Job Description Help Shape the UKs Energy Future Senior Estimator Opportunity with the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), Supporting Sizewell CAs part of the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), you will support the building of Sizewell C. Sizewell C will be a 3.2-gigawatt power station generating low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and will play a key role in our energy future, supplying reliable, clean electricity for at least 60 years.The purpose of the role is:Feeding into the Lead Estimator and the Head of Estimating on the project to ensure consistency in estimating approach set out by the client.Work closely with a Lead Estimator or on own to produce various estimating documentation that can be assured both internally and externally.Developing estimates from 1st Principles associated with the work package of the Sizewell C Project.EssentialProficient in the use of excel and similar software.Excellent client facing/communications skillsDesirableExperienced estimating background using Candy Estimating Software.Experienced estimating background using RIB Cost X Quantification & Estimating Software.Experience of working with the AACE principles of Estimating Class and associated maturityMobile and flexibleQualifications & ExperienceEssentialInfrastructure Main Contractor background ideally in the civil engineering market.Commercial or operational background considered.The CWA is a single delivery organisation made of up of the client (Sizewell C) and three parent companies - Balfour Beatty, Bouygues and Laing O'Rourke - which offer industry leading packages including market leading salaries, generous annual leave entitlements, pension scheme and other flexible benefits.
