Job Description Electrical Project ManagerLocation: Chesire (with regular UK-wide travel to project sites)Job Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) + BenefitsAbout the OpportunitySimply Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established specialist engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Manager on a permanent basis.Our client delivers complex electrical infrastructure projects within highly regulated environments across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their project delivery team with an experienced Project Manager who can oversee projects from initial planning through to successful completion.Previous Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) experience would be a distinct advantage; however, we are equally keen to speak with candidates from industrial, power generation, utilities, rail, infrastructure, manufacturing, petrochemical or other heavy engineering sectors.The RoleReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from contract award through to completion and handover.Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, equipment and materials.Produce and manage project programmes.Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client requirements.Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance.Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments.Attend site meetings and provide regular project progress updates.Support site teams throughout project delivery and resolve technical or operational issues.Candidate RequirementsEssentialPrevious experience as an Electrical Project Manager.Strong electrical background within industrial or infrastructure projects.Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project budgets.Full UK Driving Licence.Willingness to travel to projects across the UK.DesirablePrevious Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) experience.Experience delivering projects within aviation, defence or other regulated environments.SMSTS.CSCS Managers Card.What's on OfferPermanent position with a growing specialist engineering contractor.25 days annual leave (with the option to purchase more), increasing with serviceCompany vehicle/car allowance and fuel cardPrivate health care (role dependent)Salary sacrifice pension schemePaid subscription to relevant professional body/institutionLife assuranceHealth cash plans for dental and optician expensesEmployee Assistance ProgramCycle to work schemeVolunteering daysDiscounted gym membershipOpportunity to work on technically challenging, high-profile infrastructure projects.Ongoing training and professional development.Excellent long-term career progression.If you're an experienced Electrical Project Manager looking to join a business delivering complex electrical engineering projects, we'd like to hear from you.
